Hankscraft partners with Sound Devices, LLC and the Markos Foundation to award scholarships to outstanding students from the Reedsburg High School to continue their education. Scholarships are awarded to students that are well-rounded individuals in their schools, communities, and homes while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.75, are graduating seniors, and are full-time students. Two scholarships are awarded each year to the graduating class of the Reedsburg School district. One scholarship of $2,500 yearly (total of $10,000) is awarded to a student that is attending a four-year degree college and a second scholarship of $1,000 yearly (total of $2,000) is awarded to a student that is attending a two-year degree college. Each scholarship application is reviewed by representatives from Hankscraft, Sound Devices, and the Markos Foundation and is chosen based on the student’s application.
This is the 7th year these scholarships have been provided to students through the scholarship partnership between Hankscraft, Sound Devices, and the Markos Foundation. “Hankscraft is committed to the growth and development of its employees and community,” said Kristi Brown, Vice President of Finance & Administration at Hankscraft. “We are honored to assist these young students in their continuing education”
This year’s scholarships were presented to Samantha Geyer, who has been awarded the four-year scholarship, and Kayla Sobojinski, who has been awarded the two-year scholarship. “Congratulations to both students on their accomplishments. Both of you have accomplished great things during your High School career and we wish you continued success in the future,” stated Brown.
