Summary

This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery. This is a light maintenance position in a clean and quiet factory environment.

Responsibilities

Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.

  • Create requisitions of equipment and supplies to maintain equipment.
  • Ability to make welding repairs.
  • General maintenance of building and grounds.
  • Assist with set-up of basic fabrication equipment.
  • Properly guard all equipment and report all safety concerns to Director of Operations.
  • If unable to perform necessary repairs or installation, must coordinate getting quotes from outside contractors and supervise/manage the work being done by contractors.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Some electrical knowledge is required.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to frequently handle material and work with tools from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying.
  • Use of motor skills to safely drive a fork lift or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.
