Position Overview
The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with clients in various industries. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in both U.S. and Chinese markets
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies accordingly
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects
- Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the manufacturing or assembly sector
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the U.S. and Chinese manufacturing markets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
