Reedsburg, WI – Hankscraft Inc. has named Jon Tatooles as their new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Ron Wright.
Tatooles has over 25 years of senior management experience in high-technology manufacturing and was formerly a co-owner and co-founder of Sound Devices, an audio electronics manufacturer based in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. As Managing Director of Sound Devices, Tatooles raised the original investment capital and organized the company as a legal entity. He established the company brand, marketing, accounting systems, direct sales, and customer service. Tatooles left Sound Devices following Sound Devices’ 2021 acquisition by UK-based private-equity-backed Audiotonix Ltd.
“My relationship with Hankscraft began in 1998 with Sound Devices leasing a space and contracting assembly labor and materials from the Company,” said Tatooles. “I was impressed with Hankscraft’s long history of delivering excellent products and customer service across numerous product categories and technologies. The talented management and staff are at the heart of the company’s success, and I am truly excited to be joining the Hankscraft team.”
Tatooles received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University and is an active mentor with the Madison Entrepreneur Resource, Learning and Innovation Network (MERLIN), working with entrepreneurs in early-stage ventures. Tatooles will join Hankscraft on November 7th, 2022.
Ron Wright will be stepping down at the end of 2022 and will continue with the company in an advisory role in 2023.
